Dr. Steven Paul Holt, is a fellowship trained and board certified diplomat of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgeons. These are the highest recognized credentials within the specialty of hair restoration surgery.

Dr. Holt entered the profession of hair restoration surgery, following the completion of his specialty fellowship training in 2001. He then practiced full time in both Grand Rapids and the Detroit area, as a Surgeon with one of the largest Hair Transplantation Surgery Companies worldwide. Feeling that he could better serve, and preserve the trust and loyalty of his patients, Dr. Holt elected to leave the corporate practice of hair restoration, in February 2010, and to begin his own private practice in Western Michigan. His surgical practice is entirely focused on hair procedures. His entire, and highly experienced staff followed him into his new practice, making his surgical team and office staff one of the most experienced specialty teams in the world.

Prior to becoming a hair surgeon, Dr. Holt enjoyed a long and prominent career as the Medical Director and Chairman of the Spectrum-Butterworth Emergency and Trauma Department in Grand Rapids, MI. As a specialist also board certified in Emergency Medicine, he was the Associate Medical Director, and one of the founding physicians of the Spectrum Aero Med Helicopter Program; serving as a Critical Care Flight Medicine Specialist for 14 years.

Dr. Holt graduated in 1982 with highest honors, from the Indiana University School of Medicine. He was elected into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society in his 3rd year, which is the highest academic achievement award that can be bestowed upon a student of medicine. Prior to that, Dr. Holt was a 1978 graduate of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, where he studied Chemical Engineering and Biological Sciences. As an undergraduate, Dr. Holt was elected to membership in the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, and received many other achievement awards.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Holt has been an accomplished outdoorsman, and a former top ranked professional walleye fisherman and author. His many editions of "Precision Trolling" remain amongst the top selling outdoor references of all time. Dr. Holt keeps in touch with his fishing background, as a contributing author, inventor and patent holder of advanced fishing technologies.

In his "spare time", Dr. Holt is deeply into the quantitative integration of science and spirituality, where he hopes to "narrow the gap" between the two. His soon to be published works on irrational numbers, and the intelligent integration of the universe and life, are sure to turn the present understanding and debate inside out!

He resides in Ada, Michigan with his wife Sandee, and his 5 children, ages 10 months to 13 years.
